幸福不是理所当然的.

for those who doesn't understand Chinese, the above means ' do not take happiness for granted'.
in this special day, Christmas (although it's not Thanks-Giving) we have to learn how to treasure things around us.
we do not take these for granted.

* Having to fill our tummies for every meal because on the other side of the Earth, there are many people dying from hunger every day.
Please note: although i'm a Buddhist, we are also taught how to be contented.

*Having to sleep peacefully everyday because many others faced natural disaster that occurred within their control. Some have to run for their lives in the middle of the night. Imagine. In the middle of 3am, we are already sleeping soundly while others are escaping from some disasters. Also, some are left on the streets suffering from the coldness (especially now, when it's winter)

Many people may feel nothing as they may think that their sufferings is their own business and we can do nothing about it. Indeed. We can't do nothing. That's why we have to be contented with what we have if we really can do nothing.

On this special day, let us be happy and joyous with the food we eat and peaceful night we will have as this shall be the best gift we'll receive.

Also, Merry Christmas :D
